How EarnLearn supports you

Practical learning support designed to help you understand what’s required, stay on track with training, and complete your qualification with confidence.

Literacy & numeracy

Part of EarnLearn’s job is to provide support to apprentices with learning differences.

Whether it’s reading, writing or maths, understanding the training materials, or juggling work and study, EarnLearn can work with you to help overcome challenges you’re facing. 

We check in every 8 weeks to make sure things are on track and can help troubleshoot when something’s not clicking.

Support we offer:

  • Online literacy and numeracy assessments
  • Guidance to online resources
  • Literacy and numeracy support
  • One-on-one learning support if needed

Neurodiversity support

If you’re neurodivergent (for example, you have ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or another learning difference), we’re here to make sure you feel supported and understood. 

We’ll work with you, your employer, and your training provider to make adjustments that help you succeed.

Support we offer:

  • Guidance on how to access reasonable adjustments
  • Help communicating your needs to your employer or tutor
  • Resources and learning strategies tailored to how you learn best
  • Regular 8-week check-ins from your Account Manager to see how you’re tracking
  • Support with things like focus, organisation, or managing overwhelm
  • Extra time in exams
  • Access to a C-PEN

Study and assessment tools

Assessments can feel stressful, especially when you’re juggling work, life, and training. EarnLearn can help you prepare evidence, understand requirements, and submit work with confidence.

We focus on making the process clear and repeatable, so you know what to do each time.

We can help with:

  • Understanding what evidence is required and what it should include
  • Planning your work so you’re not rushing at the last minute
  • Building strong written answers that match the standard
  • Preparing for practical assessments and verification requirements
  • Confidence-building so you feel ready on the day

NZ-wide support

EarnLearn supports trainees across New Zealand with a dedicated team of Account Managers who check in regularly to make sure you’re progressing, meeting requirements, and staying on track with your training goals. Support can be delivered remotely and, where needed, coordinated around your training and assessment milestones.

You’re not left to manage things alone. Our Account Managers are there to spot issues early, help you navigate requirements, and keep momentum going.

What this looks like:

  • A team of Account Managers supporting trainees NZ-wide
  • Regular check-ins to make sure you’re hitting training and assessment goals
  • Early support if progress slows, before small issues become bigger problems
  • Clear coordination around your training plan, assessments, and timeframes
  • Practical guidance to help you move forward with confidence

Employer Support

EarnLearn works closely with employers to support apprentices in a way that protects productivity, communication, and completion outcomes. Our approach is proactive and structured, designed to reduce disruption on site while ensuring training and assessment requirements are met.

You’re not expected to manage training issues alone. Our team provides clear oversight and early support so small challenges don’t turn into delays or disengagement.

  • Proactive Account Management and progress monitoring
  • Early intervention if training or assessment falls behind
  • Reduced rework, delays, and avoidable escalation
  • Clear expectations around evidence, assessments, and timeframes
  • Improved apprentice confidence and retention

At EarnLearn, we know that people come into apprenticeships with all kinds of life experiences.

You might have grown up speaking a different language, come through alternative schooling, have a different culture to your workplace or simply learn best in your own way.

Whatever challenges you’re facing, we can support you to stay on track and succeed.
